Sounds like the middle road is the greatest commandment. Too much “Love God” and people go too far right, too much “love neighbor” and people go too far left.
Praise God for Jesus and the perfect example He set.

Buddhism is known to take the middle path. When you talk of taking the middle of the road, I think of Buddism.
Step out of the Alliance box and look in. I think you’re a lot more to the left that you think you are.

Loved your take on the middle road. I had forgotten the quote from OBC, but do remember that being quoted a lot from friends who went there. I do find it hard taking that middle path when so often the evangelicals around me are so much to the right. I do look forward to reading Hamilton’s book.
