Interesting stuff; It seems in general like Willow Creek is moving towards a more organic approach. A church that I went to in Cincinnati prided itself in “not taking itself too seriously,” which is really a way to be more natural as opposed to being a domineering force so to speak. It worked wonders for that church; I think that it is the largest church in Cincy.

Hey Chris, yes I was at the Burlington event, even made to your town the next day for lunch at Greystones! Heard a few good comments on stuff that happening at Orangeville Baptists.

Hi Doug – I’m thinking you were at the Burlington event too since so much of the content is similar. Unless he’s got stock answers that come out at every meeting

I really appreciated what he had to say – especially the time he took to expand on some of the changes they’ve made to Sunday morning. Gave us lots to talk about around the office the last few days!

These are very exciting ideas Doug. I think a planned worship service but one that allows freedom to change and re-order is an excellent idea. I would really like to see what they offer mid-week and get a better sense of the “why” this works so much better than whatever they were doing before and also how this was led and championed among the leadership team.
